You do NOT have time to run another play if there is 1 second on the clock and you spike the ball. No partial seconds in football. Goes from 1 to 0. Any LSU fan should know this!
Um, plays are allowed to extend past 0:00 until the play is dead.
You only need 1 second on the clock to snap it.
Well, not any longer apparently.

Ummm, obviously you just started watching LSU football in the past 2 years. You can snap a ball with 1 second and theoretically run around on the field for eternity. You can snap the ball with 1 second and spike it (which is exactly what happened), but then the clock is at 0 and game is over!
So no you couldn't snap and spike the ball with 1 second if you wanted to run another play and try to win the game. You could do it if you wanted to show the whole world you were an imbecile. Now you can't, which is a good thing...However, it should be 2 seconds, not 3 seconds.
