And apparently the helmet rule was put in to allow Bama to keep their players on the field.

I almost feel like they're targeting Les with that one because part B of that rule says that coaches will not be allowed to wear windbreakers in 113 degree weather.
As for the actual rule, I think it was stupid to allow two players to wear the same number in a game in the first place. There should be enough stupid numbers for everybody. Plus, it's confusing to those 10,000 or so 95-year-old Tiger fans looking through their bazooka-size binoculars.
