He has really slowed down and was struggling in practice, badly. Garcon and Morgan are healthy, coupled with Moss in the slot and either Hankerson or Robinson as our 4th receiver. Add to that the fact we will run a lot of two TE sets with Paulsen and Davis, and there really was no place for him on the roster.

I think I heard on the news yesterday he was cut after a one week absence to attend a funeral too.
