I think it's a clearly 2006 Catholic High and then the 2 RHS state championship teams in a close 2nd/3rd.

Clearly the catholic team didn't win state, but their national ranking, combined with their abundance of talent is astronomical. There hasn't been a team as talented in the BR metro era and in south LA as them since the 1996 CHS Bears with Boone, Minor, Applewhite and Williams.

PBS had some great teams as well. Dutchtowns 2006 and 2008 squad were great as well even though they could not get past the quarterfinals

4 players off the 2006 defense made it to the NFL--3/4ths of the defensive line did.

Can parkview say that about anyone player?

Nice troll, clearly the best team, but can't win a state title. Meanwhile you have Parkview and Redemptorist with multiple state titles the past 10 years.

Those catholic teams went 25-2 in 2 years with their only loses being to the state champions

I had a good family friend that played at catholic and he said they didn't show up that day, players and coaching staff

That 2003 Redemptorist High team was good led by Jay Lucas. My little brother played for Istrouma and had to play them that year. I think a record was broken at IHS with about 9,000 people there to watch that game.

Istrouma, East Ascension (led by Glenn Dorsey and Shawn Nelson),and Redemptorist all went 10-1 in the district so they all shared the district title. Redemptorist ended up winning the state title over Patterson.

Rationality at its finest

But to the OP's credit, that 2006 Catholic team was scary good. The state champ Acadiana team that knocked them out in the semis ended my football career the week before in the quarters.

Had we somehow gotten past Acadiana, we most likely would have fallen to Catholic.

Y'all have had good teams but those early to mid 90s teams were untouchable. My oldest brother played agonist that 95-96 team who had Applewhite, T Minor, and Green and they were one of the best in the country. They beat my brother's team 65-6 IIRC
