I'm telling you dude,everybody going to suggest what they have. Some ar eold as shite and really don't know what they're missing with some of the new rods coming out now.
My favorite right now is the Abu Garcia Veritas microguide rod.Thing is a freaking beast on the Causeway hauling up those big trout.

I've looked at the veritas, I'm not sure I like the small foregrip. I'll be putting a spin reel on it, and it doesn't seem like that grip would be very comfortable. If it was for my curado then I think it would work well

I've got Abu Garica Vendettas. Can't complain except for the butt has an aluminum cap on it which slides any time you try to rest the rods in the boat. It's kind of a pain in the arse.
