Right, if one was inclined to do such a thing. But if the owner torched the place, he better be ready for some severe scrutiny. The place has been closed since Isaac. I assume the utilities were disconnected some time ago. I doubt any demolition prep work started last night. If demo was to start today, as rumored, it seems the party goers would have hauled their generator and fuel out at the end of their party.

Maybe the party was still going on after 11 and someone screwed up fueling the generator... I'm sure arson investigators from the state and Friends insurance carrier will be asking many questions.

Yeah, I can't figure this one out.

If my memory is correct, the guys who bought the place were going to build a seriously big new restaurant. Money does not seem to be an issue for them. I appologize in advance if I have it confused with another restaurant in that area.

If the restaurant was to be torn down, would they really even get any insurance money out a fire?
