Shep has had about 4 balls thrown his way, but only one reception. Even the tunnel screen was incomplete. Not perfect passes, but no great catches either. He had a chance at a 25 yard reception but he stumbled and couldn't jump.

He was open on that 25 yarder terrible pass. If he caught that it would have been catch of the preseason. Had two catchable balls go through his hands tho, not easy catches but he's got to start making those. I'm rooting for him. They obviously like him alot, they've targeted him more than anyone else since he came in

Yeah, I'm a Shep fan as well, but NFL receivers have wonderful hands. Shep is going to have to make the tough play if he wants to earn a spot. He hasn't dropped any easy balls, but he hasn't "made a play" either.

Wing is punting like crap. The defense got a flag earlier for bumping him, now he's rattled and hearing footsteps every kick. His first punt was 50 yards, his last three have averaged about 40 yards.

By all accounts it seems like Wing is a camp leg and not actual competition to Jones.
