Actually, it's McCarthy who ran a successful bounty program because his team was not scapegoated for it.

But don't let facts get in the way of your troll job.

Payton and company ran a bounty program. This is a fact. It doesn't necessarily take away from his success, but it did happen. Everyone outside of Louisiana understands this.

The Saints staff had plenty of time to stop their program and gave a to the league and their own owner when told to stop the first time, hard for me to say they were scapegoated
