Salmon you and I are on the same page. I'm not hating I just don't think the Hobie is the be all end all for kayaks.

Where do you draw the line between kayak and boat? I know that a kayak is a type of boat, but I almost think that these huge yaks are in a different segment than what kayaks started out to be. There are kayaks that are relatively light, easy to launch and pack around, there are these bigger kayaks that sometimes require trailers, and then there are boats.
