Making a shrimp pasta with cheese sauce dish. Which is best Pinot Grigio to get? I usually only drink a Roscatto Rosa Dolce so clueless.

Are you in LA? If so I'm not much help.
You could also get a Torrentes is also a good option.

I would think anything in the $11 and up range would work.

By a bottle of alois lageder from Italy. Much smaller production and higher quality that the massed produced Santa margherita. Or either get a bottle of Alsace Pinot Gris or Oregon Pinot Gris. Fuller wines and better overall structure. Prices should be under 20 for most listed (although Alsace grand Cru can run a pretty penny). For these you might have to go to a more boutique market rather than your general store.

Wholeheartedly concur with this choice.
ETA: Chateau Ste. Michelle Pinot Gris is also a good choice, a little less money.

Gotta love that you slam the suggestions of others, but don't make any of your own.

Mine does too. Thanks for reminding me. I couldn't remember the name.
