I've got family that travel in the High Society, Old Money circles in Dallas & I hear it all the time: Jerry is considered new money & is not well liked/respected because of the perception of his trailer trash background...he comes from Arkansas.

well that's silly. Old money needs to understand that someone worth billions of dollars doesn't give two shits what an old society hag thinks of them. He shouldn't be respected because he's a scumbag.
