The motorcycle was going too fast, but seems like he had enough time to react and do something other than fly over the hood of the car.
Notice how he drifted over the centerline towards the front of the car? He was target fixating, which guarantees you're going to hit the thing you're trying to avoid. Even for experienced riders it's extremely hard to look away from the danger and look towards the place you want to go, in this case he should have looked to his right. More proof that he was target fixating is the fact that he was steering towards the bus as well (he never saw the bus). He was extremely lucky his flying body missed the bus.
The visibility was perfect, I agree that he had enough time to react to the car coming onto the road (by braking much earlier than he did), but he reacted way too slowly because he's a crappy motorcycle pilot. As you gain experience you learn to look much further down the road than a typical car driver does to anticipate what's about to happen.
Note that this is a classic bike/car collision (the most common scenario), which is almost always the car's fault.

Note that motorcycle fanboys always dismiss the fact that the motorcycle was going 60 in a 35.
"Watch for motorcycles" needs to be "watch for motorcycles driving like assholes"
