what's your opinion on not bringing hollins back?... that's probably the biggest offseason decision the team made.

I was going to avoid that topic.
I was/am a huge Lionel fan and apologist. I also understand that his personality and the way he handled his contract situation after the season was fricking stupid and childish. He cost himself the job. I like Joerger. I really like that he's a defensive coach first, and that he isn't as stubborn and ornery as Hollins. Hollins' refusal to play Ed Davis and not taking out Prince and playing Keyon Dooling in crunch situations was him just being stubborn because he wanted everyone to know that he wasn't going to accept any sort of roster suggestions.

I differ on this from a lot of people, but I think it was a move that was needed to be made. He frustrated me soo many damn times. The Grizzlies brought in Hollinger who is supposed to be the best in the business of analytics and Hollins thought all of that was a bunch of bs.
Joeger has been a winner at every level he has coached at so far, and the rumor was the front office was more afraid of losing him than they were of Hollins.
Just look at it right now. Lionel is sitting at home right now without a job, so the rest of the NBA may agree with the Grizzlies move.
