So a bunch of teams in the West have gotten better while the Thunder has gotten worse over the course of a year (they gave Harden away). It's going to be interesting over the next couple of years.

And, Westbrook's injury showed just how flimsy that roster actually is.

All of a sudden Serge Ibaka's your 2nd scoring option when just a season before you had Durant, Westbrook and Harden who could all go for 30 when they wanted to.

Its true that no team can really afford to lose their best player(s), but you remove Durant or Westbrook from that team for any extended period and that roster looks extremely mediocre.
