We need a ranking star guide that corresponds to the amount of minutes a recruit actually meets with Saban. Or maybe a Saban Minutes Top 10, Top 25.
Of course, if the minutes are not verified that will need to be weighted accordingly. Its like those 40 times that recruits say they have...you can't always go by those.
However, it sounds like Saban minutes are officially timed so maybe you can take them as gold.

Honestly, I cant decide who gets more unwarranted knob slobbing, Nick Saban or Ron Jeremy?

I sure hope so.
In fact I hope LSU has 7 silent 5* commits that are leading bama on and sign with LSU on NSD. That would stress the f' out of this board until NSD, but he pay off would be terribly sweet.

Shame on any coaches, grown men, adults who aid in the idea of manipulating impressionable young gentlemen into treating Saban like some demi-god who graces them with their presence and allows them the pleasure of worshiping at his grand altar like a bunch of groupies.
Can they not give a sales pitch or do anything without it being Saban-centric?
It should be only about these prospects futures, preferences, comfort, and whats in their best interest.
If Cristobal wants to suckle at the Crimson teet that is Saban, let him. Leave these young men out of it.
Our world has enough tyrants that rule above us.
Thankfully, Miles works along side and respects his student athletes

Take a chill pill bro.
So I take it that this visit shouldn't get my hopes up and Dupree will be wearing P&G no doubt?

He has a point in reference to telling kids they should be impressed by how many minutes they got to sit down with Saban.

The media has made Saban bigger than life. If I worked for him, I'd sell the shite out of that angle too.
You have a job and you use every resource available to recruit. Others use Saban against you, you use him to your advantage.

Now Saban's going to have meet with Ermon Lane for an hour, 21 minutes. Otherwise, he might not get any receivers.

FIFY........i just look at it as a tribute to LSU for being the reason for Sabans success.......not unlike it is with Miles.......dont kid yourself into thinking theres not 100's of capable coaches out there that could win championships at LSU

I wonder how Lane is going to take the news that he's, at best, number two on Bama's board.

I honestly am not saying this over sour grapes.
I would not manipulate young adults for my personal gain. Some young men may require strict structure, in which, Saban would be the more fitting choice. Some thrive under a more family oriented and encouraging atmosphere in which, Miles would be the more apt choice.
Either way, present the facts to these guys as straight forward and honestly as you can. Encourage them to choose whats best for them.
Winning alone does not dictate success. Just ask Aaron Hernandez/Michael Vick/Pacman Jones.
I do not respect anyone, LSU or Bama alike, who will twist truths to manipulate young adults lives for their own personal vanity project.
Endorse whatever behavior you wish man, but this is exactly whats wrong with this country. People believe in winning regardless of cost, and there are some prices that I would refuse to pay....

It's funny how posters overreact with "OMGZ, he made positive comments about visiting ______"
It's like these kids aren't allowed to take visits to other schools and then make positive comments about these top-end universities. It's called being nice. Not every recruit can be Willie Williams and be blunt about their college visits

He also stated that Malachi is the best WR in this years class and he is their number one choice.
Gumps will stay they didn't want him when he signs with LSU.

Just a little insight. I have been told Malachi's recruitment is "wide open". He has no lean at this moment. As much as people put him at LSU (and I'd LOVE to see him sign with LSU) this is a race to the finish boys.
