We are taking the kids to the aquarium tomorrow and wanted to get a good meal while in N.O. What are your suggestions for some really good seafood....kid friendly

Enjoy Decadence Fest. Hope your kids understand what being gay is.

Peche is new restaurant in the warehouse district that's casual and has gotten terrific reviews. There's no kids menu from what I can tell, so you might want to visit the website to determine if your kids would enjoy it.
Not sure what kind of seafood preparations you're looking for.

How old are the kids?

Really good stuff that is kid friendly can be somewhat difficult. What ages?
WW2 museum and eating at the American Sector there.
Palace Cafe is nearer the Aquarium and is ok and kid friendly.

Those ages you can get away with a lot more.

Another restaurant that might fit your needs comfortably is Mandina's. You could take the streetcar down Canal to go there which would be fun for the kids and the menu is huge. It's kid friendly. Old neighborhood restaurant. Always pretty packed so you might want to go early or later for lunch depending on your schedule. It's not the best of the best, but it's solid in my opinion and would serve you well. I always enjoy my meals there.

The aquarium and insectarium are good choices. Wait a few years for the WW2 museum . What do they like? I'll get some hate, but Deanie's in the Q may be a good choice.
