Been wanting to get an AR15 for some time now. Here are 2 that i've been looking at. Really just a starter rifle for shooting at the range and maybe some pig hunting. Any feedback, positive or negative, will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance guys.

I'd go with the S&W. I personally like that it comes with iron sights. I think it's just gonna come down to what you want

S&W Sport - forward assist is rarely used, dust cover is not necessary unless you're going to the beach.

Pay the extra money for the forward assist and dust jacket.

Of those two, the S&W. They have some really good reviews, and when the next scare comes, you can sell it for $1500 and get you a better rifle.
