So is it just media jumping on a rare occurrence? Should I be legitimately worried? I have a small cut on my foot and while its not deep and will probably be well healed by Saturday, it's got me worried.

The whole reason there are more cases in the summer is because:

A. More people are in the water
B. more people are in the water
C. More people are in the water
D. All of the above

So doc- what do you recommend to guard against this - don't see avoiding cuts when fishing or getting water on area. Thinking of just bringing more water to wash area and some hand sanatizer. Maybe being a little more careful with the family. Recommendations?

Thanks
