Typically, i'd agree with you. But, take a look at the factors.

Michigan, tOSU, PSU, and MSU all have infinitely better recruiting options than Purdue, Iowa, and Minnesota will ever have.

Exactly. ACC tried this and it has been a disaster.

Except it's really not historically in the B1G...

That conference is Ohio State (34) /Michigan (42) - conference titles.



Penn State has added a wrinkle but frankly they've underwhelmed and are now up a shite storm.

Nebraska hasn't regained it's form from the 90's and it's been over a decade.

It's like the SEC in the 60's/70's. Not much competition for the Top dog.
