Looking for a place that will not be very busy so I can work on my game at a course instead of a driving range

Go down to the Abbeville Country Club. Never a lot of people compared to the Lafayette courses and it's not in bad shape.

Muni. Lots of beginners there. It's not a very open course, it's not kept up well, the greens are awful, and TBH, the course doesn't make much sense... on the back 9 you can try your best to hit over the net onto Mudd Street. My favorite holes on the course.

Pretty much any course during the middle of a weekday will have pretty light traffic this time of the year. (Lightweights are scared of the heat) DO NOT plan on "working on your game" during morning or later afternoon times on a weekend....If you do, plan on wearing a batting helmet.
