With LSU's stable of backs a minor injury can bury you on the depth chart. Last year was his only serious injury. It would be nice for them to both be healthy and not in prison, i agree.

who would you pick as the starting RB?

To your chagrin, no doubt.

Exactly! Its running back by committee as usual. Followed by adjustments made based upon performance on and off the field.

If we had blue healthy last year we would have been able to finish off some of those games where we just needed to convert a 3rd and short.
Hill was a dynamic back for us with a knack for finding the end zone. Even more impressive was the fact that he was doing it against some top defenses. However, his flaw was not converting short yardage situations and sustaining drives.
I know blue has not had an opportunity to show that much because of health, but that is the type of back he is. That is why you have seen him start games since his freshman year. He has the ability to be very successful and he's a guy that contribute in all facets of the position.
Hill is the more electric player and blue is the more consistent one.

Your exactly right, Hill has the potential to be a heismen trophy guy during his senior season...he needs to straighten up and take advantage of his opportunity at LSU....

quote:had nothing to do with Blue. That's Les Miles fault. Vs Clemson Hill was dominant with 124 yds and 2 TDs but Les gave him ZERO carries in the 4th quarter.

Any possibility of Lamar Louis being used as RB? I know he was practicing both RB and LB when he first joined the team.. He's settled in at LB now, but we are pretty stacked at that position.

Should've taken Adam Taylor IMO. If LF runs away from competition, then we're better off letting him go to Bama.
Now, the program's run game is at the mercy of an 18 year old choosing to come here. If he doesn't, we're left scrambling big time.

Why would LF go to bama, where they're even more loaded than us at rb, to run from from competition?

What competition? We've cleared the way for it to be his backfield.
