Gaming Comp- Video Card recommendations

Im bulding my first gaming computer, and id like to think its going to come out pretty nice.
Here is a list of what i have purchased already,(all items purchased from Newegg)
ASRock Z77 Extreme4 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4000 BX80637I53570K
Rosewill CAPSTONE-550-M 550W Continuous @ 50°C, Intel Haswell Ready, 80 PLUS GOLD, ATX12V v2.31 & EPS12V v2.92, SLI/CrossFire Ready, Modular Active PFC Power Supply
I have yet to decide which case i want to go with, thus the reason why i have not purchased any fans yet. My plan is to overclock with the computer, but I am having a hard time deciding what to spend my money on. I know the more you spend the better you get, of course. The problem i have though is they all come with 3D techonology(for the more expensive ones). Is there any Video cards that are worth the price, and/or is there some cards that are a little less known, but just as good.
All recommendations are welcomed!!!
And thank you!
P.S. before some of you tell me, yes i know there is only really AMD and NVIDIA cards.

what do you expect out of the computer? I am going to assume you want to game at 1080p since we are on the gaming board. if that is the case you want to look in the 7870, 7950, 660ti, or 760 range. some of these other guys have been finding the 7870s for as low as 145.
can't recommend the fractal design r4 for a solid atx case. routinely goes on sale for around $80.
If you plan on overclocking, you'll need an aftermarket cooler for your cpu. a lot of people really like the hyper 212 evo for its price/performance. In fact I think someone on here said they had a brand new one laying around.

Yea it's hit or miss I have read with their PSUs but the one he linked is their Capstone series which is made by Super Flower and is supposed to be very legit. Their other power supplies are sort of crap.

Another option is this XFX.
It's 200 watts more and XFX is made by Seasonic. It's on sale today for $55 after dicounts and MIR.

I have that exact same mobo/cpu combo sitting in a box on my desk. I used it for all of 2 months and it works fine if you're interested.

I have 4 Extreme4s sitting here already
I also have a Z77 Fatil1ty series and a Z77 OC Formula board here

I have thought about keeping that OC board and building something in my current case once I move my build into that 650D Coyote is sending me. I would only need the CPU though.

People always overlook the N520 for the 212. It's not much more and it has a push/pull set up already. It's also quieter and just overall better. Go read the reviews on it.
You can usually find it on sale on one of the sites.

I very well may. I have kept them because I got them cheap and trying to decide which one I may keep. They are recertified boards through Asrock though. Not sure if that matters to you or not.

Its newegg's house brand, so you have to do some detective work to find out the actual manufacturer of the product. rosewill doesnt "make" anything.
Posted on 7/9/13 at 8:52 am to Mr Gardoki
Only because I already have two good mobos to choose from for it that I got cheap.
