They should've let EG go, or taken some picks from Phoenix and not taken on Tyreke. They've hurried themselves into mediocrity after acquiring a potential franchise player in AD. The great thing about drafting a franchise big is they take a few years to be completely impactful. Giving you plenty of time to build through the draft.

Unless AD is a real loyal type I see these moves as precursors to his departure.

why? We're doing things the other way while others are trying to follow that model...i.e. Boston

Me too Sac had 3 top 5 picks and look what it got them. T Rob has been traded twice and Tyreke is with us.

I see no problem with finding players 25 and below via trade and free agency and developing them then fitting them into your system vs drafting multiple highly ranked prospects that don't fit in hopes of becoming OKC.

The OKC model is a myth we've seen so many teams stock pile first rounders and go no where.
