What do they do, do they cover your arse? Or just keep legs clean?

Briar/snake proof hip boots.

They take a muck boot and sew a set of waterproof/snakeproof chaps onto the boot.

Looked on their webpage, I want something to wear duck hunting in the marsh with knee boots that is tough, waterproof, covers my butt, and doesn't have Drake on it

Those boots are pretty awesome. Much more comfortable than waders and last about 2 years. I duck hunt in them and just wear some waterproof pants.

I'm thinking not as hot as normal lacross hip waders yet still provide protection from the things that inhabit the swamp just West of my camp. I've got a dog that wants to hunt so I have to take her.

You could just wear snake chaps over regular swamp nikes. That's what we do for the wabbits in briars
