At this point more of a WR playing tight end (a la D'lo Peterson) but he's got time to put on more weight. He was a 4 star recruit and one of the top TE in the class. A lot of people are excited about what he can bring to the offense buts its uncertain yet if he redshirts.

He's wayyyyy more polished at this point than Peterson was. Which doesn't say a whole lot I guess, because Peterson was about as raw as it gets. Nevertheless, I personally don't see any way we keep him off the field for a redshirt season.

My feeling is that Dillon Gordan will be our No.1 TE when the season starts, with DeSean Smith waiting his turn as the No.2 string in the passing game. When it comes to running the ball, I believe Logan Stoke will get his chance beside Gordan.

I think Gordon will probably be the biggest surprise.
Dickson and Smith will give you some receiving out of that position.
Stokes didn't show much in spring but we'll see how he reports for fall after summer conditioning.

Well I wasn't really comparing their skill sets. More of their body types. Peterson was a TE by position but he was pretty thin guy by the standards of a TE. Although I guess he and Smith are more representative of today's "hybrid" TEs.

Im thinking Dickson is the guy that starts and gets a lot of PT but Gordon will see significant time in a blocking role.
