They've compared next year to '03. After Wade went at 5 it was:

Kaman
Hinrich
Ford
Sweetney
Hayes
Pietrus
Collison
Banks
Ridnour

That's 6-14. Are any of those players at that time + Noel better than Jrue? No.

That's the biggest reach for an argument point I've ever seen.

"A" for effort though. Very creative.

I like number 1. You don't think we slide in the playoffs or close to it next year? You harping on draft picks, but were getting someone good who can lead the team AND is young. I understand your talking but this is a great trade.

I am of the mindset that being a borderline playoff team is not a good thing concerning getting new talent via the draft.

As far as free agents, New Orleans isn't Miami, Boston, New York, Brooklyn, Dallas or Los Angeles. We don't have that flash to attract certain players.

We would really have to shell out some $$$ and wow potential free agents BIG TIME to score someone that would come here over those other places and organizations.

Not hating on New Orleans, but we are at a disadvantage when it comes to flash, team history, etc... We carry that stupid small market stigma.

Seriously? You can't have a grown up debate without being a little smart arse?

But anyways, how exactly is that a bad point? The point is that they talk about how deep '03 is and how '14 will be so deep, but does "very deep" really mean anything outside of the top 5? Looking at '03, no.
