Does it matter? I think some Vandy and UNC fans would say the same. Those 3 teams just didn't play their best ball at the end of the year. Winning the CWS doesn't necessarily mean u have the best team.

If you don't get it done when it matters most, then you aren't the best team. The goal is to win the CWS, so UCLA and MSU are the best two teams...and one of them will be the CWS championship.

Tell that to the '91, '93, '96, '97, '00 and '09 teams that won it all. It means that you won when it counted the most.
