I bet they always have the recommended wine in stock.....probably close to an endcap.....I doubt they ever send you out to another shop for a line their distributors don't carry.

Nope their distributor decides what they put out based on profitability and demand, demand is created by the folks at the store. Who in fact are trying to make recommendations based on a limited inventory of a product that has been shown that the best of the best cant tell a difference in.

Considering it is the best wine store in the state, I'm guessing they have no reason to send me to another store.

You win. I don't think there is any point in debating this anymore. All wine is the same. We should nationalize wine making and let one company make it all.
