I just bought Far Cry 3 and I would greatly appreciate any help and tips about the playing the game. Thanks.

You're gonna collect way more hides than you will need

unlock the radio towers first so you will get to see the island and get free weapons.
use the bow. best weapon in the game

Silencers are your friend.

I never used the bow and arrow, use the rocket launcher to kill tigers, i had fun liberating the outpost i made it to almost the end and my machine froze up and i didn't get to finish it.
