Just some Arsenal age porn for our attackers.
Giroud: 26 (almost 27)
Walcott: 24
Ozil: 24
Wilshere: 21
Ramsey: 22
Ox: 20
Makes me smile and very happy.

just to be clear, all this age porn is of legal age.
i wouldn't mind another striker and wide player, but that is stacked.
also, poldi is 28 like cazorla

Arsenal squad photo day!
Beowulf looking suave.
Diaby looking 47.
Park Chu-Young is the most miserable person in the world.
Akpom, Ryo, Gnabry, Zelalem in the photo.

was watching the highlights of the reserve fixtures so far this season. Dan Crowley is a really exciting prospect.

Good read. Thanks for the link.

i love Brian Phillips and that was particularly good. met him once before a Thunder playoff game. really nice guy.
Wenger says Cazorla is probably 3 weeks out. he said he would be the next back which contradicts reports that Poldi was close. it'd be nice to get them both back soon.

just working bruh. jacking off under my desk dreaming of beowulf banging in goals.
but seriously, it'd be kinda hilarious if he went off this season because of Ozil. he looks like a got damn vampire now.

Just thought I'd post on here after meeting glassman (#1 Ramsey believer, enjoying his due) at Finn's for the OM match.
The New Orleans Gooners at Finn's have been recognized as an official branch of Arsenal America as of last night.
It doesn't change anything for those of you that are regulars, and the fact that it was filed for by someone you probably never met doesn't matter either. I'm just running the twitter and Facebook pages to spread the word, and any longtime Gooner who does the whole social media thing is welcome to be an admin too.
If I haven't met you yet, I'd love to on Sunday. My name is Omar and I'll have my scarf. Or check out one of our many social media platforms.

His role in a passage of attacking play is roughly analogous to that of the omniscient narrator of a novel — only by some postmodern twist, he's also a character in the story.
I felt this sentence, and the entire article, in my pants.

Phillips is the best writer about sports around in my book.

his twitter game is strong, naturally

Phillip's is better than Wilson, Cox or Posnanski? That's high praise.

I haven't read the others consistently, but he's not as tactical as cox. Not tactical at all really. More about storylines, themes, subplots, existentialism, with a little bit of humor thrown in. Just depends on what you value in your sportswriting

I think so. his piece on the Iditarod for Grantland is out of this world.
Cox is very good. I feel like he hasn't been his best in awhile though. he's so damn prolific now (which, props to him, he's in high demand) I feel like his stuff doesn't go as deep as it used to.
Wilson I probably don't read enough.
Pos I love, but I haven't read a lot of him lately. as shitty and dumb as it sounds, took a little break from him after the Joe Pa book.
my favorites to read currently are Phillips, Spencer Hall's features, and Wright Thompson.
