One of the two CB's should have been all over that, but the quickness on his turn of more than 180 degrees is what I was admiring. Goal or not.

Tahiti does a miserable job and running back onsides after they make an unsuccessful run

I'm still mad about the Torres four-spot.

Damn david villa consoling the crying goalie. If tahiti has another goalie, they may want to use him next game so this guy doesn't harm himself.

If he wins the golden boot on this game I'm gonna lose it.

It´s like the shots on goal seem MUCH faster, than when a bigger, more agile keeper, is there to trap or parry them.
Not knocking Silva, but that´s probably something he does five or six times every day in practice.

I don't feel bad for Tahiti's players one bit. Not many amateur players get to say they played against Iniesta, Mata, Silva, Fabregas etc...

I'd lose 100-0 to get a game worn spanish jersey from any of those guys

Me too. I don't expect the Tahiti players to be thrilled about the loss, but you can bet they had a blast out there and have some wonderful stories to tell one day.

If Uruguay beats Nigeria, Spain beats Nigeria and Tahiti beats Uruguay by 20 goals...they'll advance. Never give up hope, Iron Warriors.

I'd do a lot more than that.

ok if you were Wolverhampton Wanderers in League 1, or a Blue Square Conference team, what Tahiti player stood out to you to be worth another look?

That one professional guy...that's already 33
Posted on 6/20/13 at 4:01 pm to americanoutlaw
well I was thinking other than him

I think the guy that scored wasn't so awful, and there was one other dude, #13, that almost played professionally in belgium. That better?

I wonder if tahiti even drops in the fifa rankings after this. I mean they're already 138
