Yep, a lot of people really just haven't thought enough in-depth about it to realize how good it could be for them. They just see extra restrictions and think it's automatically evil.

Take The Witcher 2, for example:
$20 on steam, and currently on sale for PC at $6
vs.
$28 for a used copy at gamestop, and $40 digital download on the 360
