Every time I go home and drive up 165 to Simmons there's a new strip mall or building that has popped up in Sterlington - it's really growing out there.

The same 4 or 5 folks keep selling bits of land becoming more wealthy every time a white family leaves Monroe city for the burbs!

I remember going from sterlington to Monroe and except for a house or the old cotton gin you didn't really see much until century tel corporate office building and OCS.

I was living out there before I moved to BR. It's real nice out there with good schools. And they've done a lot since I left.
