I didn't mind letting him hit away. I wish he would have taken one more pitch.

If rhymes was a .00001 sec faster we still tie the game up.

Anything can happen in baseball but personally I have minimal confidence in our ability to string together timely hits. I like our team speed, and our pitching depth. Our defense is solid (most of the time) but Bregman has to make that play. Hard to come down on this kid because he's so solid and is only a freshman but he has to at least keep the ball in front of him. That's fundamental fielding. HUGE mistake. Can't have those on this stage against these teams.

Believe? I know we can. But when we're off as a team we're OFF.

It wouldn't have been a double play, but what if Rhymes had bunted and popped it up for an out?

Then we still would have tied the game on the Moore single.

Rhymes could have done anything right there other than a double play, including striking out on three pitches, and we would have tied the game on the Moore single

I believe too. Game last night wasn't pretty but we did enough to win unfortunately we had two major errors that we don't usually make that directly cost us the game. We normally have a pretty good offensive team and the small ball approach isnt our game so I don't expect us to pick it up now. We hit the ball better than UCLA last night in my opinion but unfortuanately for us again the hits were scortched right at their fielders. Its baseball can't be perfect all the time but I think this team is too good to just "2 and BBQ".

Mason should have recognized he was out and gone into 2nd base standing up - might have saved Raph at 1st.

It's an error, you can explain how it should have been done on every one of em that occurs. Only scoring one run is what the problem was.

Again, we've had 13 and 15 game winning streaks, had at least a four game winning streak after each loss all but once.

This could be an exciting run for the championship, and It all comes down to pitching from this point forward. 4 games in a row.

If anyone can do it, it's the Tigers!

If you dont believe, then please burn all purple and gold belongings, resign from TD, and go cheer for Tulane or UNO.

I believe the team, including coaching staff, learned a very expensive lesson Sunday night at the hands of a "small ball team".....LSU can still do this, they just have to want it more than they did Sunday night
