And if they cut it to 90 the people that don't watch it will still complain about too many games. Reducing the number of games would be a disaster for the MLB, they would anger many traditionalists and people that don't watch baseball still aren't going to watch baseball.
With the money Major League Baseball is getting from ticket sales plus mammoth TV deals, why should the MLB reduce the amount of games? Heck, with expansion plus the introduction of interleague play that has occured since the MLB increased the games from 154 to 162 you can make the case that there aren't enough games.

Personally I think they should drop back to 154 games a year and speeding up game by 10-15 minutes by not allowing pitcher/hitter time outs

Where were the traditionalists when they added games and added 2 Wild Cards? They won't leave.
