The good thing was that my wife loved to offshore fish and I had the go ahead to buy what I needed. And yes, she knew the cost of everything included the cost of a weekend trip.
Those would cost me an easy 1K a weekend. 
Now, if any of y'all need some bottom weights in the 8 and 16 oz, I can make them and sell on the cheap. Say .75 for the 8 oz and a buck for the 16 oz? I don't know what they are going for now. I used to pay a buck each just 4 years ago.
