Your feelings are irrelevant bro. LSU has had top 10 recruiting classes in almost all of Miles 7 years. Until we see a new brand of LSU's offense fans and writers have a right to be skeptical.

you alluded to "people" underestimating this team, then you said because of 2 straight top 10 classes (incorrect statement) that you "FEEL" our offense will be improved. Your entire arguement is based upon conjecture and feelings. We just pointed out facts. You then acted like an emotional baby screaming cause you couldn't get your way. Then you argued with anybody who disagreed with your hypothesis.

Some of the '12 signing class
defense
hunter, k alexander, d jones, louis. feist, mills, thompson
offense
v alexander, hill and gordon
ST
ferguson and keehn
These are the true freshmen of '12 that actually played in the game rotation. Five of them actually started some. I don't care how that class was ranked that's some serious talent Les brought in with that '12 signing class. LSU's LB and DB class was as good as anybody in the country, OL was damn good also.

I wouldn't go THAT far. This is a brand new offense. While we are all excited about the new OC, but the bottom line is that we don't even know for sure how successful it will be. At this point last year a lot of folks were talking about how Mett was the savior and this would be a top offense in the nation. While the passing game did improve, we weren't anything close to that. There's a lot of wait and see going on on both sides of the ball. While I think 17 is a little low, it's really not that farfetched that an outsider doesn't think as highly of our team as we do.

LSU has raw talent but it's unproven and we lost a lot. We also have a new OC. 17 is a bit low in my book but I wouldn't be surprised to see us lose a couple of games and even a bowl game and end up at 17. It all depends on the QB, WR's, and our secondary as to whether or not we will be able to finish top 10. The intangibles are do we have leadership on the field from some key players and will Les let the offense and the OC do some different things. I'm not convinced he will, so color me skeptical until we see them perform on the field.
