Yeah I'm really not sure, I'd assume he's back to a regular wolf. I don't think they'd have let him go if he was still some super evil and powerful demon wolf.

Jeff Davis was on the After Buzz TV Teen Wolf after show and was asked about Deucalion and he said we aren't done with him and that we will find out what is going on with him when the show returns.

He also said there is something about the twins. He worded it that something is "broken". I'm guessing they can't merge together anymore
