I can barely trust my 7 month old in the back yard 
. The only thing she's chewed up are scraps of wood from behind my shed and extension cords, so it's not so bad. And even though she won't pee in the house while we are there, she would if we didn't pay attention to her when she needed to go. It would probably be 2 years before we feel comfortable with it.
