I would go to the general manager of the dealership, skip everyone else

Demand your car in 24 hours- also any miles of 100 you want .50/mile deduction from sales price, if any damage exists to car, deal is off

or tell the dealer you would like to select a car of equal or great value on his lot

IF GM balks at anything- inform him your attorney will be contacting him along with the state Attorney general

You can thank me later

So she got the car yesterday and she is very happy.

She did speak to the general manager and the customer service manager the day this all started. She had even contacted the attorney general's office and they gave her a contact at the agency that oversees car dealers (the agency name escapes me now).

If only they had explained to her that the other dealership might not let the car go before she had signed papers, this stressful situation would have not happened.
