Espn3 feeds, even on mobile apps, have a different set of requirements than espn, espn2, and ESPNU. Log in with whatever your ISP is and you'll have access to espn3 most likely. You won't have access to the espn, espn2, or ESPNU feeds.

This. If the game isn't on one of those three (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU), it will be broadcast for free on ESPN3. So if people would like to watch, they would need access to the internet with a decent connection speed.

If you have an XBOX Live account for you or kids, you can access ESPN3.

But if your ISP is not on the list, you're screwed

Again, no. Go onto ESPN3 right now. There are events anyone can watch. Only the games broadcast on ESPN's 3 TV channels will require a log-in.

From the FAQ:
FAQ Page
ESPN split ESPN3 last year into WatchESPN which requires the log-in and ESPN3 which has exclusive programming.

What will I be able to watch on ESPN3 now?
Exclusive programming on ESPN3 includes college football, college basketball, NCAA Championships, tennis, golf, soccer, cricket and more. Limited events from ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU still exist on ESPN3 during some windows.

How is this so hard to understand?

Currently, everything playing requires the ISP login. If you look under the "Upcoming" tab, there is a press conference that is available without it.

When i click on that press conference, i get a message that says this program is available to customers of cable and internet providers that offer ESPN3 or watchespn.

It's an upcoming event at 10:30 tonight. It's not even linked yet, only listed.

If you're right, shouldnt i be able to watch replays of the wnba games? They're listed as espn3 and when i click on replay, i get asked for my cable provider..

Not if you have Dish and your ISP is not on their list....

I'm sorry, but ESPN3 is NOT TV.

It is if you're smart.

I know you CAN view them on espn3, but can I also view them on another espn network?
