No it can't. Really. Nash was incredible. He was fast, and had incredible court vision.

Here is Nash's wiki page (LINK ). Please go look at his first 4 seasons, then come back and tell me how incredible of a player he was then. I can post a link to his college scouting report that detailed his weaknesses as average foot speed and man to man defense.

My point being is he got better. He became a better athlete, refined his game and found his niche. He really didn't start becoming a star until he was around 28. So yes, it is possible for Vasquez to keep getting better. If other guys can do it, so can he..

The Nash comparison isn't a bad one. Vasquez's AST% and TO% rivals some of Nash's great years in PHX.

The 2 big differences are Vasquez can't shoot anything like Nash and Nash never had trouble going around bigger players while Vasquez is shut down by guys like DeMaare Carroll

I would say Vasquez has maxed out, but I thought that going into this season and he surprised me. Who knows?
