Lebron shouldn't even be in that category with those guys until he's won more ships. I mean I have been watching these last two games and I know he has scored 30 plus from just primarily jumpshots and put backs, but there is so many opportunities for him to just take Paul George or Stephenson to the rim and get them in foul trouble or just downright slam over them and dominate. But instead he passes off or settles for those jumpers and it's just frustrating because you know those guys can't stop him if he wanted to. Just look what he did the first game on the last two possessions, exactly that.

You are missing my whole point. I'm talkin about him going to the damn basket more often. The opportunities are there.

I agree that LeBron should go to the rim more often. He is incredible because he can force contact yet still finish the play.

If he was on MJ's level he would have not let his teams lose in 2011 and 2007.

I think you're completely not factoring in how the Pacers are defending him. When you drive, and 2 extra defenders come out to meet you, you simply can't get to the rim every time like youre suggesting.

If they're going to completely collapse and leave 3 point shooters wide open, the pass is the correct basketball play.

AGREED. I look at how a player makes others around them better.... My list shows this..........

MJ didn't win a championship until 7 years after he entered the league. Look how early LeBron made it to the Finals into his career.

We're watching the wrong games then. They have doubled in some cases, but most times George has been left guarding him, he can easily muscle past this guy who is light in the arse and go to the rim. He can get them in foul trouble as well as finish at the rim. But in most cases he either passes it off or shoots that jumper. he can really dominate if he just went to the rim more often.

somehow the logic has become that leading a team to the finals at 21 and getting swept is not as good as not leading a team to a finals.

Not sure how we arrived at that one.

LeBron doesn't make the players around him better? Did you ever see him play in Cleveland? He made Mo Williams and Varejao look like all stars.

Varejao was averaging 14/14 before he got injured this year.

Definitely because what I have seen is George guarding him a lot who he can easily get past to the rim. Instead he just dribbles out in front of him like he wants to go to the rim, but then passes off to another teammate or shoots a J. There is just to many opportunities to take George, it's what he did in Game 1 and won the game.

And what happens the moment Lebron takes 2 steps towards the rim? Don't say no one collapses because that would be incorrect.

Not to mention Lebron hasn't been going iso all that much in this series anyway. It's mostly pick and rolls and post ups and that little screen where he cuts to the paint as the ball is passed to him.
