No kidding. I just don't get it.
I looked at the Mystery Diner site where it talks about applying to be on the show. It doesn't say much other than that you need to have a big personlity.
He did so I guess he passed. Maybe no one who worked there had a big enough personality so they brought in the actress. I'd love to read the contracts for these shows. I would assume the restaurant is sworn to secrecy, but why would they say they took her back after 4 months? That only hurts the restaurant even more, but it got folks blood pressure up and that's drama! ETA: Last night on Urban Spoon, a few people posted that they called the restaurant to see if Dee Dee was still there and were told she was not.
