Especially for Raph, who isn't the fastest player on our roster
Laird could have circled the bases & been halfway to bogies in the time it took Raph to score.
Just lucky he didn't land on his hand, shoulder, knee etc. wrong. Lesson learned kids, nothing good comes from hustling!

Any time that ESPN wants to highlight LSU in a favorable way, I'm not going to complain. Inside the park home runs are rare and the cacther/runner collision on the base path ended up with Raph flipping head over heels, landing on his back and crawling to tag home plate.
All-in-all its a play that you don't see every day. The most noteworthy thing for me is that the OM centerfielder just lay on the ground after he dove for the ball and missed. He looked like he was expecting the right fielder to be backing him up but the right fielder isn't even in the picture. Makes it look like lack of hustle by OM and great hustle by Raph.
