It's always something with this guy.
But I do feel bad for him. He's a former addict who just untethered himself from his entire support structure. There's just no way the Angels are going to bend over backwards for this guy like the Rangers did, and I think he needs that to be a productive member of society, much less a good baseball player. And I think the extremely virulent reactions he is encountering at pretty much every AL West stadium can't be helping the guy. I'm talking on a personal, stay off drugs kind of level. Some guys can shrug off the fans as part of the job... I don't think he can. I think he needs the adulation of others.

Not to mention I'm sure years of cocaine abuse did a serious number on his sinus cavity.

exactly. the guy is an addict and he decided to take a little more money instead of stay with the club that helped him get clean.
that's not a great life decision IMO
