The album is just OK. They really got away from what made them famous and amazing and gave us something that is basically all elevator music in my mind. I've seen Daft Punk before and I just can't imagine them doing this stuff live and it be any fun. Like I said its OK but not amazing, great or unbelievable. Alive 2007 was amazing, discovery was amazing, homework was amazing but this is just OK. Their weakest album they have put out.
When I read this post yesterday, I didn't want to believe it. After listening to the album this evening, I have to sadly say that I agree.

The vocals on this album are atrocious. Just an overly processed mess that shits all over an otherwise good album. Nothing spectacular, though. Nothing ground-breaking in any way. I keep feeling myself thinking about Jamiroquai, but I'd much prefer to hear Jay Kay singing than a damned speak-and-spell effect on every damned song.

i went out and purchased the CD today, and i have to say, while i like it alot, i do not consider it daft punk... its completely different from what they are normally.
