I like Arrested Development, but I prefer Curb Your Enthusiasm... which is a "so what" admission except that I'm listing these two particular comedies from Netflix and HBO to make a point: I'm hoping AD becomes a HUGE success in order that HBO can be swayed to see the value in a streaming, no cableTV provider model.

I'm not sure exactly what the numbers were that House of Cards produced, but if that show was able to garner a cult-like following without much recognition prior to its release (I think it was a remake of a British series), a well-known show like AD could have gargantuan success.

Amen.

It's such an old model and the exclusivity needs to die.

OK, this is simply brilliant advertising. Tobia Funke has put up his own site, that consists of him playing various different characters on a green screen. Here's a list of them for your enjoyment: LINK

Now, here's where it gets gold and I'm sure we'll be seeing plenty of them pop up over the next few weeks; Everyone is now making Youtube videos randomly inserting Tobias into various different movie scenes. Here are some of the better ones so far:

The Shining
Jason
Brokeback Moutain

frickin a, been waiting sooooo long.

But is it me, or are they using a different grade of film or whatever than the original show? It looks quite different, almost too detailed. Maybe it's just the combination of seeing older characters in higher resolution than before.

no matter though, still gonna be awesome.
