How do we know that Quille decommitting wasn't something that was agreed to by both parties to get some of the others to commit? Just a thought.

I disagree with you there red. Noil can play any skill position there is and excel thats the type of athlete he is. People get caught up in his height and weight but he breaks tackles left and right can jump out the gym etc. He is a steve smith type of receiver. He is a natural catching the ball. I want him on offense bc thats a place i believe that he can make the most immediate impact especially with all the dbs we have right now.

Should LSU want a guy like Williams? Seems like a headcase.

Hell yes! Period. You always have guys like that tho.

Also those are old arse quotes. Pretty sure that was the same exact thing he said before he committed to us

Exactly what I was going to say. Those are old quotes prior to LSU extending an official offer to him, which he accepted, and eventually decomitted to enjoy the process. All in all, if LSU stays on him, he will likely be a tiger.

We have to get MD, Speedy, and Blacknail IMO the rest well would be nice but meh

Does anyone think we end up with speedy?

I was about to say the same thing.
I think he committed to LSU less than 48 hours after that article and that is the reason why other schools told him they aren't gonna bother recruiting him anymore.

That slimy bastard of a writer basically embellished a previous quote and changed a few of the words to make it sound present tense:
From an A&M article 52 days ago when he got his A&M offer:
Hmm, sounds pretty dang similar

quote:
“They’ve offered already but I don’t really feel like I’m going there right now,” he said. “They haven’t really been talking to me like that. I don't want them to think that if they come in at the last minute that I’m going to automatically commit there because that’s not the case.”

In fact, he’s still talking frequently with the LSU Tigers. “I’ve been talking with the LSU coaches,” he said. “I really want to be there, but I don’t want to be there. I just want to see what their offense does, because if you look at it, they haven’t been producing no good receivers. Don’t get me wrong, I like LSU, but D’haquille Williams is open to any school.
Taken from the Bama board.

Refers to himself in 3rd person

I don't understand any of that quote. The whole I want to go to LSU, but I don't want to shite doesn't make sense. This ain't 7th grade Quille. There isn't a Like or "Like" Like option here.
Posted on 6/13/13 at 10:00 pm to BobBarker
Well, Ironhead985 is almost to the point of not giving a rat's arse if "Quille comes home" or not. Lol. He's been like Bigfoot around here since he was in high-school. Sure, Ironhead985 would love to have him in purple & gold, but if he isn't.. Ironhead985's jimmies won't be rustled.

Also, he is also interested in Texas and AU but questions our offense.
I don't even know what to say to that.

There really is nothing we can say about that. Lol. Except, that it doesn't make any sense to question our offense and then be interested in the 2 that you've mentioned. No matter what he does, I won't be surprised. Thank God that there's so many talented receivers that are interested in us this year.

I am so sick of these athletes needing their echos stroked every God damn day. If he does not want to be here then
To all the players that bled purple and gold and wanted to be at this school

I completely agree. I think Beckham and Landry got some good publicity last year. Our receivers get noticed, but our offense has just gotten a bad rep during the Jefferson/Lee era. We still have always had great athletes and the scouts know that. That's why they always go to LSU to look at our players. These HS players are prima donnas now. It's annoying really

This!
Read the title of the article.
"Williams: From JUCO ranks to NFL?"
Where does Quille even mention any of this? No where. This Helwagen dude is pulling shite out of his arse. 24/7 sports is reputable and he's writting articles like its the National Inquire!
