That sounds like some expensive iron and processing.

Hopefully this will fare better than some of the other ultradeep gas tests. If not, this well cost is pennies out of Chevron's pocket but a bigger hit to MMR and EXXI.

I'd love to see the well log. Maybe in a couple of years when it becomes publically available. Speaking of which, I wonder if the Davy Jones logs are public yet.

Me and you both. I'd also love to see the final cost and a wellbore schematic showing how many different casing strings they had to run.

I think they are, may have to do some digging to find them.

MMR is gone, this project killed them, they were acquired by Moffetts mining company. Basically he bought himself to bail his himself out, think they bought Plains to.

I'm wondering if they can even get a well log at temperatures that high. I heard they were just going to get cores.
